Energy Conserving Specular Indicates whether HDRP reduces the diffuse color of the Material if the specular effect is more intense. This makes the lighting of the Material more consistent and makes it look more physically accurate.
This setting only appears when you set Base Color Parametrization to Specular Color and Use IOR From Diffusion Profile is not enabled.
